The Foundation has a Children's Home (Orphanage) known as "Sought-After Orphanage" which started off on the 8th February, 2008. It was setup to provide a homely place of abode in the temporary for the abandoned and motherless children; to find suitable homes for most of the children who might never have known what it means to have parents and to provide opportunities for childless couples, who long for children,  to become parents.

Also, there is a Women Rehabilitation Centre known as "Home of Sharon" for young women between the ages of 15 30, who have gone through some form of abuse at a particular time and are willing to have a re-definition of their lives.  Home of Sharon takes care of young women who have been involved in prostitution. At the Home, they are empowered to move on in life after encountering some life-threatening and challenging situations.

Our Services:

  • Providing shelter, empowerment and succor for young ladies who have gone through one form of abuse or been involved in prostitution.

  • Restoring family values through counseling, teachings and prayers.

Our Objectives

  • Development of local small scale businesses within communities for the use of the afore mentioned categories of persons to enhance community development and foster unity in communities.

  • Units:

Sought-After Orphanage -This is the Childrens Home. Here we work collaboratively with the law enforcement and other agencies in ensuring that the Rights of children are upheld.  Children stay here temporarily until they are reconciled to their families and when this is not possible, they are transferred to more suitable homes where they are accepted in love and nurtured to grow in to responsible adults through adoption or fostering process.

As at January 2012, we have had a total number of seventy-four (74) children under our care and protection with the following statistics:

    • Nine (9)  reunited with and returned to their families

    • Forty-four (44) have been adopted by different families

    • One (1) was transferred to a special needs home

    • Twenty (20) are currently in the home while we are still expecting many more children.

Home of Sharon - This is a separate temporary group living arrangement for young ladies who have gone through some form of abuse or prostitution and need a re-definition of their lives.  Their stay in this Home will be between three months to two years.  During this period, they would be mentored under God-fearing women who will teach them the word of God, how to pray and take them through deliverance sessions.  Other professionals will also work with them to harness the treasures in them.  There are empowerment programs put in place to enable the women integrate into the society. They live in a secured environment based upon Christian values, where positive attitudes can be developed.  They are also encouraged to desire personal growth by furthering their education with the purpose of living a life full of dignity and security.  After their stay at the Home, they are integrated into the society where they become role models in the society.

    Rehabilitation program

Admission into Home of Sharon is always at free will.  After an intensive interview and follow up, the admission can take place.  The program consists of three stages, which are: (i) Rehabilitation (ii) Reformation (iii) Re-integration.

Our major tools are counseling and prayers which is primarily aimed at assisting the ladies to deal positively with the abuse they have experienced.  Through counseling, the women with the help of the professionals and mentors will regain self confidence and esteem, overcoming shame and self blame taking control of their lives.

    Professionals who are well equipped with counseling skills and are guided by the following principles of counseling;

    (i)  Individualism (ii)  Purposeful Expression of Feeling  (iii) Acceptance

(iv) Non- judgment Attitude  (v) client self determination  (vi) confidentiality

    (vii) control emotional involvement.
